Anyone who has read/listened to David Goggins'(@davidgoggins) autobiography would probably have contemplated the issues of pain tolerance and surrender.

The number one reason, every able-bodied adult human being can walk on their own two feet today, is because they never stopped trying as a toddler. They never surrendered, no matter how many times they fell to the ground, while trying to balance and walk. This example sounds simple but is very profound.

This attitude is exemplified by this single tree standing in the middle of a Lake in Florida. Think about all the hurricanes this tree has faced over the decades, with
top wind speeds of up 150MPH. Yet it has simply refused to surrender. It is still here, setting an example and a reminder for you to follow.

The willingness and ability to develop tenacity goes a long way in helping you deal with adversities in life.

Say NO to surrender.
